Insurance coverage varies between and within each provider and clinician; however, our services may be covered partially or in full. Please contact your HMO or health insurance plan by calling the 1-800 customer service number on the back of your insurance card to learn more information regarding what your plan covers.
Here are some helpful questions to ask your insurance provider:
● Do I have mental health care benefits for counseling/psychotherapy?
● What is the coverage amount? What is my deductible and has it been met?
● Do my benefits cover the following procedure codes for counseling/psychotherapy:
● Do I need pre-approval for services?
● How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
● If Mountain Creek Counseling is considered out-of-network, how much of the fees are covered? What kind of paperwork do I need to provide to get reimbursed my out-of-pocket costs?
Insurances currently accepted in Virginia are: Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Humana, Medicare, and United Healthcare. In process to credential with Cigna and TriCare.
Insurances accepted in Michigan are: Aetna, BCBS of Michigan, Humana, Molina and Priority Health.
Sometimes, for whatever reason (like high deductible plans or privacy reasons), clients prefer to pay privately. The private pay rate is $125/session. Sessions are 55 minutes long.
